Plane In The City - Malaysia First Aircraft Dining Experience

Hey merry goers,

If I were to ask you what are your memories of dining on a plane, what would be the first thing that strikes your mind? What if I told you that you could actually enjoy freshly-prepared meals in an aircraft and be given a private tour of the cockpit after your meal? Say farewell to those memories taking a flight, stuck in a tight space for several hours and eating pre-packed meals.

Say hello to Plane In The City this April, touted to be the next top attraction in Kuala Lumpur! TwoSpicy Entertainment Live, the company behind the immensely popular Dinner In the Sky Malaysia, is set to launch the first of its kind in Malaysia, Plane In The City.

This will be a 90-minutes experience revolving around an actual Boeing 737 aircraft, during when its ‘passengers’ will get a chance-of-a-lifetime to do things such as taking a ‘selfie’ while sticking their heads out of the Pilot’s cockpit, walking on the wings of the aircraft, enjoying a fine-dining meal serenaded by today’s hit music and many more. Located at SKYLAND at Jalan Bukit Bintang, one cannot miss the aircraft while driving past, as it stands out against the city’s many skyscrapers.

“We live in an era of experience. Consumers are now demanding newer and more interactive models of products and services. They want to experience different realities and Plane In The City allows them to do just that”, said Arvin Randahwa, CEO of TwoSpicy Entertainment Live who conceived the idea. “This is a great way and place for locals and tourists to treat their loved ones, friends or clients and have an unforgettable outing,” he added.

Sitting only 20 people per session, you will be sure to enjoy an exclusive 3 course or 4 course dining experience (depending on the type of package) by the chefs of Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. There are three standard packages: Economy Class (RM199/pax), Business Class (RM399/pax) and First Class (RM999/pax). On top of these standard packages, Plane In The City plans to launch celebratory packages such as birthdays and anniversaries plus serving as an event venue fitting up to 60 pax at one time.

It sure was not an easy task transporting and transforming the decommissioned aircraft used for Plane In The City. From police escorts to multiple cranes, it was a technical and length journey with the help from Dulux and AkzoNobel, the official paint sponsors. Runway lights used around the aircraft are actual runway lights used on airport runways around the world, courtesy of ADB Safegate, airport technology specialists.

Plane In The City will definitely elevate your dining experience to a whole new level and satisfy the cravings of all your five senses. This is one experience that you DO NOT want to miss out on. So who's with me? For further inquiries, look up www.planeinthecity.com and hurry book your tickets as ticket sales will begin on 26th March 2018.
