Mary Kay® Matte Liquid Lip Color: Swatches and Thoughts

How many of you love matte lip colors but have yet to find THE one? Well, I was blessed to get my hands on the latest Mary Kay® Matte Liquid Lip Color series. I've tried several of Mary Kay's cosmetics so I was looking forward to see how this compares to the other lip products I've tried in the past. 

The Mary Kay® Matte Liquid Lip Color comes in 6 different shades which applies like a gloss with the matte of a lipstick. These 6 trendy colors are perfect for work or play.

Here's my thoughts about the Mary Kay® At Play Matte Liquid Lip Color.

Very slim and compact, it is so easy to bring it around. It doesn't take up too much space and the applicator makes application very easy.

This series of lipcolor is buildable and it glides on effortlessly with the doe-foot wand. You can even opt for it to be a tint by applying it at the centre of your lips and slowly blending it out. If you like a full on lip color, apply two layers and you're done. A little foes a long way.

I have been using Red Siren and really loving it. I just dab a bit into the inner lip section and blend it outwards for my daily look. For special occasions, I apply more and I'm ready to rock the night. 

The Mary Kay® At Play Matte Liquid Lip Color has a matte finish but does not look drying on my lips. The texture of it is also very light-weight and you wouldn't feel it on your lips. Once applied, it dries quickly on the lips. Transfer rate is minimal but one tip is you might want to blot your lip color so that there is no excess on your lip. The color fades off gradually throughout the day and does not leave patches on your lips. Touch-ups are pretty easy also. 

Retailing at RM39, this series is definitely one of the more affordable options for those out there seeking for a decent matte lipcolor. Of course, bearing in mind that the product is only 6.5g but this means you can actually make good use of it and get more colors.
