L'Oreal Paris SuperStar Makeup Set
This is a super long post that has been sitting in my drafts section that I nearly forgot all about it. With my makeup cabinet seriously getting over-piled with tons of products, I finally had time to dig into this beauty box thanks to L'Oreal Paris team!
A few months back, L'Oreal Paris launched their SuperStar Makeup Set and although I was unable to attend it, they were so sweet to send over a gift box. Beautifully wrapped, I did a short unboxing video on my SnapChat (@miriamgoh) so some of you may have gotten a short preview of my unboxing and my initial review about it.
So let's see what I got inside!
False Lash Superstar Mascara (RRP: RM58.90)
Superstar Liner Impact Felt Liner (RRP: RM35.90)
Lucent Maguque Cushion Blush (RRP: RM49.90)
Color Riche La Palette Nude (RRP: RM89.90)
Let's first have a look at the False Lash Superstar Mascara. It is actually a duo brush formula mascara that gives that false lash effect with two simple steps.
At one end, you have the super-sizing primer which is enriched with lash serum. It helps thicken lashes by building volume. On the other end, you have the mascara which is shaped like an eyelash curler. The curved lifting brush applies a super black, fiber-rich formula that coats each primed lash. This mascara sure does it's trick especially with the primer. It totally adds more volume to my lashes giving it that full lash effect.
Next we have the Superstar Liner Impact Felt Liner. This eyeliner has a felt tip superflexible tip that you can adjust and adapt to how you like your eyeliner to be. Super pigmented, it gives a black finish that stays pretty long on the lids. I actually like using felt tip eyeliners especially recommended for beginners because it is super easy to use and you can get that perfect winged eye look too.
Now the Lucent Maguque Cushion Blush was something I have been dying to try out once they were launched! I love cushion foundations so when this came out I wanted to see how good it was.
WARNING: This blusher is super duper pigmented! That color is the exact color you will get once you pat it on your face so make sure you are very light-handed when applying. Comes with an cushion puff for you to apply, you can use it to blend in the blusher. One thing about liquid blusher is that it gives you a super natural glow and flush compared to powder blusher. With just one tap, you get a burst of color on your face. I think I can use this blusher for ages! The formulation is also enriched with mineral water so your skin stays fresh and dewy for hours.
The Color Riche La Palette Nude was an eyepalette that I was eyeing especially when there have been so many dupes for the Naked palette. This palette has all the shades you need for a day to night look ranging from light to dark, and suitable for every skin tone. You get shimmery satin finish, buttery matte as well as lustrous sheen colors. I've been playing around with it for my daily makeup look and loving it.
This eyeshadow palette comes with an eye-designer brush and mirror for you to be just like makeup designers! I like the blending brush that helps me blend away the harsh edges and every beginner should have a basic palette like this to transform you into a star.
