You know Christmas is just around the corner when cafes start showcasing some delectable sweet treats adorned gorgeously just for the festive season. This is no exception for Garage51 whom this year partnering up with Nutella and creating some decadent treats using the ever famous hazelnut chocolate spread.

Thanks to Bowie for bringing me along to be one of the first to enjoy Garage51 x Nutella Christmas Menu showcasing 3 new treats: Messy Garage Pancake with Nutella, Messed Up Family X'Mas Special Nutella Peppermint, Mochatella, Nutella Burger and one of the crowd favourite from the Messed Up Family, The Son Nutella Hazelnut Milkshake.

I must say that I have seen crazy milkshake creations from Garage51 and have always wanted to pay them a visit. They definitely did not disappoint with their Christmas Nutella Menu so lets get into the details starting with the Messy Garage Pancake with Nutella (RM18). Once it landed on the table, there is no denying that this is one Instagrammable pancake indeed.  Fluffy and stacked up in a pile before drizzling some chocolate sauce over it, these tower of pancakes are stuffed with Nutella and I heard that they have further enhance this pancake recipe after we visited them.

One of the dream of a Nutella fan would definitely to smother thick slabs of Nutella over a bun and just savor every single bite of it. Decadent and oh-so-sinfully good, the Nutella Burger (RM16) delivers just that! Paired it with a few slices of strawberries, this is just the basic item to fulfill a Nutella fan's dream.
Let's move on to the drinks selection because they seriously are the topper to the whole menu. A must try is the Mochatella which has thick luscious Nutella served with coffee cubes before the splash of milk to melt it all down. For those of you who hate diluted iced coffee, you won't face that problem here because the coffee cubes just releases the coffee slowly as it melts.

The two drinks that awed everyone is the Nutella Hazelnut Milkshake also known as The Son in the Messed Up Family and their latest Nutella Peppermint. I was actually quite worried that it would be overly sweet when I got the first look at The Son (RM18.90) but to my surprise, it was really very well balanced.

The Son comes topped with pretzel biscuits, caramel popcorn, marshmallow and chocolate sauce drizzles. Of course the first question that comes to mind is how on earth do we even dig into this gorgeous creation but trust me, at the end of the day this whole cup will be gone.

I love their Nutella Peppermint (RM19.90) topped with their own homemade cupcake just like the topper of a Christmas Tree. The hint of Peppermint was subtle but sufficient to spice up the whole drink. Minty fresh yet smooth and creamy, this is a must try from them.
