The vibrant world of Tiger Soju Flavoured Lager came alive at its much-anticipated launch party, where 4,500 enthusiastic fans were treated to a night of playful adventure and bold expressions. This exciting event marked the introduction of Tiger’s latest innovation to the Malaysian market, offering a unique twist with its new flavour, Gutsy Grape.

As attendees entered the venue, they were greeted by an inviting neon-lit tunnel that led them into the immersive world of Tiger Soju Flavoured Lager. This visually stunning entrance set the stage for an evening filled with exploration and refreshment. From energetic DJ sets by Queen T, Julian, and Sherry Alyssa to hip hop acts by the Ban Huat crew featuring YUNGKAI, S.A.C, and Dato Maw, the entertainment was top-notch. 

K-pop dance medleys added to the excitement, but the highlight of the night was South Korean rapper Loco, who thrilled the crowd with his popular hits.

Guinness Malaysia revolutionised consumer experience with the launch of House of Guinness in July, an avenue for fans to discover the innovation of Guinness Draught in a Can. In conjunction with the International Stout Day celebration this year, the brand is bringing the House of Guinness back, and this time with the concept of #ItIsAMatterOfTaste, highlighting Guinness products and the magic behind them.

There will also be a variety of Guinness-infused delicacies for fans to sample at the festival too, featuring iconic dishes by Arthur Storehouse, the Guinness flagship outlet set to officially launch next week at Pavillion, KL.

The Creeper returns to its hunt in Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, which debuted its full trailer just in time for Halloween. In cinemas, this October 13; the movie features an entirely new cast of victims, who offer a fresh perspective on the bloody tale.

Reborn appears to take certain liberties with the plot of the original 2001 picture Jeepers Creepers, starring Justin Long and Gina Philips. While the sequel and threequel occurred within days of the original film, Reborn does not specify where it falls in the timeline. The first film was likewise set in rural Florida, whilst the Horror Hound Festival takes place someplace in Louisiana. Perhaps the most shocking change is that The Creeper is no longer played by original alum Jonathan Breck, who has played the malevolent creature in all three prior films, but is now resurrected as Jarreau Benjamin. This is maybe the most unexpected change of all.

When the Horror Hound festival holds its first-ever event in Louisiana, it attracts hundreds of geeks, freaks, and die-hard horror fans from far and wide, to howl and celebrate into the night. Among them are loveable geek Chase and his devoted sweetheart Laine, who is forced to come along for the ride. But as the event approaches, Laine begins to experience unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town's past and in particular The Creeper. As the festival arrives and the blood-soaked entertainment builds to a frenzy, Laine believes that something unearthly has been summoned...and that she is at the center of it.

Orphan: First Kill is a prequel tale that takes place prior to the first film. 

Back in 2009, audiences were introduced to Leena, the psychopathic orphan, who set out to abuse her adoptive family and seduce her adoptive father. In the original film, Isabelle Fuhrman played the titular character who was initially thought to be a nine-year-old girl but was actually a 33-year-old lady with a medical issue that caused her to look like a child. The gory horror movie was a gripping psychological tale that was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. 

Now over 13 years later, audiences are invited to explore the complex mind of Leena once again in this prequel story. Orphan: First Kill focuses on Leena again, with original actor Fuhrman returning her role. 

“After escaping from an Estonian psychiatric hospital, Leena travels to America as the lost daughter of an affluent Connecticut family,” according to the official description. 

“However, Leena’s new existence as ‘Esther’ has an unforeseen twist, pitting her against a mother who would defend her family at any cost.” Julia Stiles plays the mother in the film. 

Joining Fuhrman and Stiles in this horror tale are Rossif Sutherland, Matthew Finlan, and Hiro Kanagawa. Interestingly, Fuhrman, now 24, told The Hollywood Reporter that she chose to repeat her role under the guise of nine-year-old Leena without any CGI de-aging. 

Orphan: First Kill is directed by William Brent Bell (The Boy) from a script by David Coggeshall. TGV Pictures will be releasing the film in cinemas on 4 August 2022.
