You know how everyone wants to get flawless skin and look high and low for that product to give us a natural and flawless finish to our skin. How many times have you caked on foundation or powder just to give that illusion of a flawless face and but it does not look natural? But what if you don't have that flawless skin but you still want to look like you have got flawless skin. Now this is where this product comes about; CC Creams. I know some of you may have heard of BB Creams, CC Creams, DD Creams and there is even a EE Cream but honestly you don't need that much alphabets because CC Creams is actually sufficient. CC Creams are also known as Colour Corrector Creams where they help correct your skin tone especially if you have uneven skin tone. Different from BB Creams which are commonly known as Blemish Balms, the CC Cream is creamy light, snoothens the complexion like dark circles, uneven skin tone and some even have SPF Protection and Oil Control.


Thanks to the team at Watsons Malaysia I was able to test out and review the popular Pure Beauty CC Cream from Korea which I heard to be one of the best selling products from the Pure Beauty line. Pure Beauty is a brand from Korea that is quite popular and has been on our Malaysian shores for quite some time. The brand is inspired by nature and perfected by science where they offer the finest quality, safe and effective natural skin care ingredients that are clinically proven and dermatologically tested.

Their best selling products are their antioxidant based skincare series where they feature Pomegranate in their products. Not only that, they have also launched their CC Cream which not only evens out skin tone and perfect overall complexion with UV coverage, but also provides the deepest nourishment for your skin.


I was given the chance to test out their CC Cream and share it with all of you merry goers out there! The CC Cream is packaged in a pink metallic box and has 40 ml of product in it. The Pure Beauty CC Cream comes in two shades; Ivory and Natural.


The unique selling points of this CC Cream is that it uses leading edge 3 color combination technology to improve uneven skin tone. The three colors used is Yellow which conceals dark circles and blemishes, Peach to correct uneven skin tone and improve complexion and Blue which helps to cover acne and unsightly redness. These three colors are incorporated into the CC Cream to give you a natural and flawless finish.


So I was given both shades and in my opinion the two shades are not really that far apart but for those who have fairer skin I would suggest taking the Ivory shade. Both the shades have yellow undertones to them and will slightly oxidize as time pass. Interested how you can get flawless looking skin and even out your skin tone like me in my photo below?

I had no makeup on except for using the Pure Beauty CC Cream and some eyeliner. I am using the Ivory shade and here is a short video that I've prepared to show you how you should apply this CC Cream and what I think about it. It's my first time actually filming a video for you all so please be kind!


So like I mentioned in my video, here are some closeup photos. I have actually tried using the CC Cream several times and you can actually use it as a primer or makeup base or if your skin is looking quite good, you can just use it on its own. I find that the coverage is light to medium but it does a good job of correcting my skin tone. If you can see from the closeup photo, one side of my face is with the CC Cream and the other side without it looks dull compared to the one with the CC Cream.


If you have oily skin, I will recommend you using a setting powder to set your CC Cream as in this hot weather in Malaysia it does not really last that long. But if you like a natural glow to your face, you can actually just use the CC Cream on its own. If you look carefully, you can actually see a nice sheen to the CC Cream which will give you a nice glow and dewy look to your face.

Several months ago, I received the REALASH Eyelash Serum and have been using them for the past months to get fuller and longer lashes. I was supposed to update you all about my results after one month and three months but unfortunately I just realized that my post on the one month result was corrupted due to a virus attack on my laptop. Argh! Hate it when things like this happen so unfortunately I am not able to show you all how my lashes looked after one month BUT here's how they are looking after three months.
