Hello merry goers!

Say hi to my Pinky Pie ChuLip which I decorated during the 'Pimp My Chu Lip' event hosted by Butterfly Project at Kare Cafe, One Utama! This Pinky Pie definitely represents me with the sweet pink and dainty decorations!

Around 50 butterflies met up at Kare Cafe to get to know more about Mentholatum latest product which is the ChuLip. This product is very popular in Japan and is gaining popularity among Malaysians too! As you all know, Mentholatum is famous for their lip balms but you know how lip balms come in a specific shape which is the standard long tube but now with Chu Lip, you can moisturize your lips with style!

The Chu Lip lip balm has been the talk of the town with it's unique shape and funky colours in Pink, Red, Purple and Green making it a trend with ladies using it in public. The cute design is an upgrade with the ultra moisturizing properlies and easy glide-on formula compared to the earlier lip balms. All Chu Lip lip balms are enhanced with moisturizing ingredients like Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Rose Hip Oil for happy and healthy lips.

Each colour represents different scents with catchy names of places like Pink - Paris, Perfect Memories (Sweet berry scent with Raspberry and Peach flavour), Red - NY, Brilliant My Way (Fruity scent of Apple, Ginger, Tea Rose), Purple - Arabian, Floral Shower (Elegant flower scent of Rose, Germanium and Clove), Green - Nordic, Fancy Nostalgia (Refreshing scent of Orange, Lime and Mango)

But wait a minute! Besides the launch of the new product, Mentholatum is organizing a contest by letting Chu Lips fans pimp up their Chu Lips and personalizing it to be in the running to win an Ipad Mini 3 or a set of Chu Lip lipbalms!

During the event, we were given decoration items to pimp our Chu Lips! You can decorate yours with ribbons, glitters, stickers or even use Sharpie markers and give them a fabulous makeover.

Use your creativity and personalize your Chu Lip. Let your creativity run wild and design your Chu Lip any way you like making it the one and only design in the world. 

So now it is time for me to personalize my own Chu Lip and make it the one and only design! I chose the pink Chu Lip as the base and since nowadays I am really into the pink feminine colour, I chose to use several shades of pink. If you know me well, I really am not good with crafts so here goes!

Tada~ My little Ms. Pretty in Pink with her partner Mr. Casino decorated by my good friend Anis. She was the only one who did a male Chu Lip! There were several other designs that really caught my eye and 6 best designs were chosen and we voted for the best three designs.

And the winner goes to Mira with her cool rock star design and she walked away with a new Baby G watch! Congrats to the other winners as well!

Had a really good time at Pimp My Chu Lip event with fellow butterflies and great to know new butterflies too! Thanks to Kare Cafe for the good food as well. 

To the rest of you, you can get your own Chu Lip at any leading pharmacy or major supermarket and purchase it at RM 25.90 each. Although slightly on the higher price range, the Chu Lip last quite long and I really love the fragrance of each Chu Lip. If you are a fan of Nando's here is some good news for you. They are finally opened in Avenue K! I am a super fan of Nando's chicken and I always always order their Extra Hot Peri-Peri Chicken because I just love spicy food. 

Nando's finally opened their doors last Friday and compared to some of their other outlets which are rather dark, they have added several bright lighting in this outlet and I like their overall interior design with their signature wall decors. 

I was one of the first ones to be able to dine at Nando's Avenue K and I must say that I am impressed with their service and really hope that they maintain their great service! After being seated it was time to start ordering and thanks to the open kitchen system that they practice, I could practically smell the aromatic chicken grilling over the counter.

While waiting for my meal to arrive it is time to grab some of Nando's sauces which is all yours to enjoy! I definitely grab the bottle of Extra Hot Peri Peri Sauce to add more kick to my meal.

If you would like some appetizer before your meal or if you are really very hungry I would recommend their soup of the day/mushroom soup which comes with their grilled garlic bread. The soup was pretty satisfactory but it was a rather huge portion especially with the two slices of bread on the sides.

Time to dig in to my main meal which is Extra Hot Peri Peri Chicken with Grilled Vegetables and Potato Wedges on the sides. I actually quite like their Fino Sides which are the Sweet Potato Mash and the Spinach but these will do.

Ah~ Satisfying meal! Nando's never fail to satisfy me and I always crave for the spicy kick in my meal. Besides that don't forget to check out their Nando's app which is available on Android and in Apple Stores to get more benefits like free chicken and redeem other goodies too!
