It's the month of fasting already and there are so many options to break fast and dine this season. I am going to be sharing several places where you can have a nice satisfying Ramadhan fare with friends and family and here's one from Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur.
Checkers Cafe at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur presents a nostalgic Ramadhan buffet by the concept 'Bintang Lagenda' with over five rotational menus offering 100 over wide selections of main dishes and appetizing desserts from 18 June until 16 July 2015.
Highlights of the Ramadhan buffet will be a special selection of the legendary Tan Sri P. Ramlee's favourites such as Whole Roasted Lamb 'Kuzi' style, Gulai Kawah Sotong Sumbat, Burung Puyuh Percik, Ayam Goreng, Serawa Durian Pulut and more!
From the action stalls at the entrance and live cooking at its show kitchen, enjoy a wide variety of delicacies and main dishes ranging from Gulai Ikan Talang Masin, Udang Goreng Sos Keju, Nasi Kerabu Bunga Talang, Bubur Lambuk and many more on offer to entice your tastebuds.
The Ramadhan promotion at Checkers Cafe also features an extensive selection of traditional local salads found in various parts of Malaysia such as kerabu made with young papayas, mangoes and ferns, ulam-ulam kampung and rojak.
Enjoy other Malay dishes like satay, ketupat or even grilled items from the show kitchen as well.
In addition to all the festive delights, the restaurant still retains their regular individual cooking stations that offer local, Japanese and Western delights. Enjoy their cold cuts, grilled items, and selection of sushi in store.
Desserts come in the form of local Malay and Nyonya cakes plus Malay delicacies such as Serawa Pisang, Chilled Peach with Sago and Coconut, Malay and Nyonya kuih, homemade cookies, Bubur Cha Cha, Bubur Pulut HItam, fresh fruits and a lot more of course not forgetting the customary Buah Kurma (dates).
