Hi there my dear merry goers. It's the middle of the week and I do hope that everything is well. I'm feeling slightly under the weather recently so make sure all of you take good care of your health. November is ending and I can't wait for my favorite month, December to begin.
Firstly it's my birthday month and also Christmas!! Now how would you like to spend the last month of 2015 with some meaningful activities? Have you heard of Le Marché de Noël? It is a unique French-style Christmas Bazaar and Christmas Charity Party organised by a group of like-minded French women to raise money towards fulfilling the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, and medical expenses of children with heart conditions.
Last year, a total of RM160,000 was collected and equally split between two local associations: Make-A-Wish Malaysia and A-Heart-For-A-Heart. The target this year is to raise RM180,000
Le Marche de Noel will be held for just one day at Carcosa Seri Negara for the fourth year running so mark off 3 December off your calendars! You can expect to be spoilt for choice with tons of unique accessories, hand-sewn children and ladies wear as well as home decor items from the vendors.
Just look at those adorable teddy that will be on sale too. There will also be five associations who will sell their products for a good cause
Positiv Living Community who provide shelter, loving care, treatment and support to people who have been rejected or had become homeless due to: HIV and AIDS Drug or Alcohol addiction
Penan Bags who help the aboriginal semi-nomadic tribe of the Borneo rainforest: The Penan of Sarawak
Rumah Ozanam who set up Homes and bring children from poverty stricken areas and broken families and provide them conducive learning and living environment.
Tanma federation help the Burmese refugee women
And Batik&More who will sell Handmade Christmas wreaths and some new Christmas ornaments made of Malaysian batik .
Like before, French gourmet food and mouth-watering goodies will also be sold as with creatively-designed household items. So be prepared to enjoy amazing French gourmet food on that day too. Some of the them include :
