Hi merrygoers!
Been a while since my last #MiriamFashion post so thank God for Suria KLCC Fashion Week where I was invited for the Aldo Spring Summer '16 Collection Show. There were really some vibrant pieces which definitely suited this season so heads up to tons of photos coming up.
The fashion show featured some of the hottest footwear and accessories of this season, presented in 5 different themes – Sunshine Yellow, Second Skin, Rainbow Splash, Best Practice, and Business Class. Models were dressed in stand-out pieces including block-heeled sandals, neutral espadrilles, suede derbies and preppy oxfords.
Let's start off with some gorgeous designs for the ladies. You can see vibrant red and gold colors as some of the primary colors in the collection as well as floral prints. I particularly like the baby blue bag and heels which is definitely one of my favourite because of how effortless it looks. Going from casual chic to elegant, there are many different pieces from the collection that will catch your eyes.
Just look at the heels in the Aldo SS16 collection. These are definitely some head turning heels with the differnt gradiation of colors and that hot pink! Certainly a stealer in the show.
You will also see that the Aldo SS16 collection features a lot of strappy showear and did you see that clutch? This particular clutch sure captured many women's heart with the unique 'WIFEY' print on it. I know several who grabbed it home.
“Our SS16 collection of footwear and accessories was designed to cater to our inspiring, style-driven clientele,” shares Eve Chan, Senior Brand Manager of Aldo Malaysia, “through the fashion show and the activities at KLCC, we would like to celebrate individuality and we hope to help customers express their personal styles while staying fashion forward.”
Several fashion influencers were spotted at the event wearing trend-forward items from Aldo’s Spring Summer‘16 collection. They included Yasmin Hani, TV host and actress, Raja Atilia Haron, singer, songwriter and actress, Joyce Wong, fashion and lifestyle blogger, Megan Tan, TV host and emcee, ‘Mr Stailista’ Ayie Ali, fashion influencer, blogger and stylist and Andre Amir, fashion stylist and blogger.
Not forgetting the gents, the Aldo SS16 collection had a wide variety of pieces suited for the outgoing casual look to the cool dapper men. Love the pop of colors Aldo has for the SS16 collection and seriously guys, if you are looking for some tips on how to dress; well here are some great examples.
You would definitely look sharp and well-dressed with these fine pieces.
