Sally Hansen Mother's Day Spring Tea & Pampering Party

Hey all you gorgeous merry goers!
It was Mother's Day last weekend so how did you pamper your mum on that special day? Mother's Day is a really meaningful day that you should definitely allocate that time to shower your precious mother and make her feel like a queen. Now, I do not mean that you shouldn't make her feel this way all year round but especially for those of you who have been always so busy to make her feel like a queen, you should definitely take this day as an opportunity to show her how much you love and appreciate her.
Thanks to Sally Hansen, I was able to really give mummy dearest the pampering she needed! In conjunction for Mother's Day, Sally Hansen organized a sweet Mother's Day Spring Tea & Pampering Party where we were able to bring our mothers for a nice pampering session plus enjoy some good food.
The party was hosted at Closer Kitchen & Espresso Bar which was a quaint and cozy place perfect for our little tea session. Not only that, the food prepared that day was all in the same theme with Sally Hansen's Nail Polish collections which was really a personalized touch.
The team definitely did a great job in preparing for the tea party with humongous paper flowers on the wall and the backdrop for the photo booth was gorgeous! We were so tempted to really cart the whole backdrop home. There were a whole line of manicurist waiting to pamper both mothers and daughters too!
The main event was definitely the manicure session that was arranged for both mothers and daughters. My mum wasn't really the type that would actually spend time just to pamper herself so it was awesome that I could actually give her some pampering time. She had her nails nicely manicured and added a flower for nail art too. Boy, she was enjoying her manicure session especially when the manicurist started drawing the flower which was really very pretty.
Sally Hansen also introduced their latest Pull & Plug Collection which had 4 new colors (Au Natur-al , You Glow ,Girl! , Hat’s Off To Hue, Aflorable) and delivers 7 benefits of a salon manicure in one bottle. I am not kidding you because this is the first-ever polish to deliver five steps of a professional
manicure (Base Coat, Strengthener, Growth Treatment, Salon Color & Top Coat). The Complete Salon Manicure hasbeen upgraded to offer two additional benefits – Gel-like Shine and Chip Resistance – for the ultimate 7-in-1 formula. The latest Sally Hansen Pull & Plug collection can be found at Guardian pharmacies at RM26.90 each!
I, myself had my nails done using Aflorable from their latest Pull & Plug Collection which was a nice pastel pink shade! I chose a French-manicure style for my nail art which even until today looked so pretty. My nails totally matched my outfit for that day and I am honestly in love with the quality of Sally Hansen's nail polish. I have always been going for gel manicure because it lasts so long and have always thought that by using regular nail polish, my manicure wouldn't last. But even until today which is nearly three weeks, my nails still looked gorgeous and I love the pink shade which complimented my skin.
Of course it was always great to be able to catch up with fellow friends who attended the party plus meeting Emily Quak was so surreal. I have been an avid fan of her Youtube channel and she is such a friendly and warm person. It was great to be able to meet her in person after watching her online for so long!
Thank you Seeties and Sally Hansen for giving both me and my mum such a memorable experience. So sweet of them to prepare fresh flowers for us to bring home too plus some of their star products. This definitely calls for more self-pampering sessions at home. A huge shoutout to mummy dearest for being the best mum she can ever be and thank you for everything you have done for both me and Chloe over the years! Now it is time for you to sit back, relax and let us take care of you!
Happy belated Mother's Day to all mothers! Til next time,
xoxo
Miriam
