Time to pucker up and say "bye-bye" to dry lips! Mary Kay recently launched their NEW Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick which is is intense, long lasting and leaves your lips looking moisturized! The new gel formula is great as an everyday lipstick as it is the first full-coverage lipstick utilizing gel microsphere technology for rich, stay true colors that last for hours.
This lightweight formula glides on smoothly on your lips, leaving them feeling soft and supple. Not only that, you know how rich lipstick colors can tend to bring our the imperfections on our lips? Thanks to the special formulation, it has a soft-focus effect with optical diffusers to scatter light and blur the appearance of minor imperfections.
Matte lipsticks can tend to be difficult to pull off especially if you do not prep your lips well. No one wants to see dry and chapped lips which can be emphasized when you apply matte lipsticks! Advanced “Cushion Matrix Technology” utilizes ultrafine silica microspheres to embed and retain colour on the surface of the lip. Luckily for ingredients like unflower oil and jojoba esters, your lips will be in tip top condition plus the pigments in the lipstick are milled for over 24 hours - leaving you an ultrafine, smooth colour.

I manage to try Mauve Moment, Always Apricot, Powerful Pink and Midnight Red and the color that really attracts me the most is Always Apricot because it is such a great color for an everyday lipstick! The formulation also glides on smoothly on my lips and oh boy the colors sure are pigmented! Mary Kay Gel Semi- Matte Lipstick will be available starting 1st August 2016 onwards and priced at RM 55.

Remember the previous post about the Mary Kay Dream Beautiful Contest? Well it is BACK! Mary Kay has announced entries to the Mary Kay Asia Pacific 2016 Dream Beautiful Contest are now open. This is the fourth year for the regional makeover competition celebrating the making of Asia’s next modeling star and makeup artist talent.
The competition is set to draw thousands of pairs from nine countries across Asia Pacific, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan. Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants enter the contest with her customer as a pair, initially competing with others in the local market contest, before winners from each country converge in Hong Kong for a glamorous week long regional Grand Finale in March 2016.
