Urban Daybreak, Bangsar Aussie Inspired Cafe For Early Breakfast and Brunch

Looking for a brunch spot that you can bring your fur-babies along? Urban Daybreak is the place to go serving Aussie-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch! They open as early as 730am and highly recommend you go early to avoid the crowd as it starts getting crowded by 10am.

A little brunch spot that originated from Penang, Urban Daybreak became a massive hit within months of its launch before opening another outlet in Bangsar KL. The menu here consists of Australian-inspired dishes from avocado toasts to yummy sandwiches.

Here's our recommendations

Urban’s Really Big Breakfast RM45

Just as its name, this is a really big breakfast. Enough for two or maybe even three. A generous platter of sourdough toast, 2 eggs your way, we chose scrambled eggs! Plus house-made spiced sausage, thick bacon, king mushroom & spinach, homemade bbq baked beans, oven-roasted tomatoes and more.

Stout Pulled Pork With Poached Eggs (RM30)

Who can resist that runny Poached Egg? It is a testament to the fact that taste and aroma aside, texture is also key to the perfect bite into your food. The pulled pork sontender and juicy and really almost heavenly as you cut through the layers and put them in your mouth! MUST ORDER!

Signature French Toast (RM32)

Brioche loaf, brulee banana, homemade salted peanut butter jam, crispy bacon, maple drizzle. Super good brunch dessert. Huge portion to share and well balanced with maple drizzle and homemade salted peanut butter jam that matched with the brioche loaf.

Steak & Eggs (RM48)

This was ordered by the BIL which may be a weird choice for brunch but I'd say they cooked the steak nicely done and paired with that runny yolk was yums!
